Dublin Brunch Guest Graham Stanley
Graham Stanley is an English language teacher in Barcelona….a statement so minimal it’s like saying that Socrates holds classes in Athens. What makes Graham so special? He’s deeply devoted to the interactive listening - also known as podcasting (but on steroids). He’s been leading the parade in use of the New Tools for a long, long time. Graham will add greatly to the Dublin Bunch And, he will add enormously to the Brunch Conversation.

I work as an English teacher at the British Council Young Learners Centre in Barcelona, where I am also ICT co-ordinator. I also work as a teacher at Turismo Sant Ignasi, the school of tourism of the University of Ramon Llull, in Barcelona, Spain.
I am particularly interested in blogging and podcasting with my students, mainly because I’m convinced that helping them reach a real audience for their writing / speaking is very motivating and helps create an environment where learners take more care over what they write & say (knowing it is for publication).
I will be speaking to you from Bilbao and participating in giving a presentation about interactive listening.

[…] The first accelerate, I say, is the million plus English language instructors operating worldwide. That group is brilliantly represented here - by Eric Baber, speaking from London and by Graham Stanley, speaking from Spain. Indeed, we are truly fortunate to be holding our Brunch within the framework of an extraordinary worldwide conference of English language teachers. They call themselves Webheads and they may well be the world’s most innovative classroom practitioners. Every single day, all over the planet, Webheads fuse brand technology with brains, sweat, experience and vast amounts of creativity in ways that make for outstanding results. Thank you Webheads. You know who you are. […]
