Arun Mehta - Inspired, from New Delhi
Dr. Arun Mehta is a very good friend of mine and not just because he has sailed with us on every single Global Learn Day Voyage. He’s a good friend because he’s gifted, driven, warm and does exactly what he says will do. Once more he will guide us through the South Asian Region, bringing with him some of the most motivated people on our “ship”.
TIME & TEMPERATURE IN NEW DELHI
In this Region our topics have always revolved this theme: Handrails for those with Special Needs. Dr. Mehta does a whole lot of heavy lifting all year long, as visits to the web pages (below) will confirm. To say more would be to say less, except this: Thank you Arun. You already know how deeply you are admired by those who know you well.

And best of all - for another time - a evangelist for use of community radio, not just for pedagogic purposes, but to broadcast far and wide news about people such as Dr. Arun Mehta, my very good friend from New Delhi.

Dear Arun,
Thrilled to see that you are participating again, and to read about all of your amazing work (which I knew something abt the last time we talked, after GLD 2004…and now look at how much more has been added!). I look forward to hearing more next week, and there will be some confluence with some of what we’re discussing in the African region, so hope you’ll join us there.
Hope to pick up on our previous conversations abt developing more resources and tools for people who are differently-abled, and thanks for all you have done in that regard!
With immense thanks and very best wishes, Janet
